Job Overview

This is a senior techno-functional leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the technology strategy for Lending Servicing across the global loan lifecycle. The role requires strong domain expertise in lending, with deep understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle including origination, underwriting, booking, servicing and closure. The individual will drive solution design and ensure alignment between business objectives and target state technology architecture supporting Wealth Lending Servicing.

The role provides design governance and techno-functional direction to development teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with architectural standards, regulatory requirements, and global operating models. A strong understanding of SDLC< system integration, and agile delivery models is essential, along with the ability to bridge business needs with technology implementation to build the desired end-state platform for Wealth Lending Servicing globally.

Responsibilities:

•             Act as a primary technology partner to business stakeholders, translating operational requirements into scalable and maintainable technology capabilities

•             Collaborate closely with product towners, business units, and technology partners to ensure technology initiatives support evolving lending business needs and operational efficiency.

•             Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications

•             Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects

•             Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas

•             Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals

•             Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations

•             Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results, participate in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project

•             Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary

•             Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

•             6-10 years of experience within the financial se4rivces sector, with strong exposure to technology platforms supporting lending products and operations.

•             Proven experience leading application engineering teams, with responsibility for delivery, technical oversight and team development.

•             Experience in full-stack application development

•             Familiarity with industry frameworks, development methodologies and enterprise technology practices

•             Stakeholder and people management experience

•             Demonstrated leadership skills

•             Proven project management skills

•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

•             Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

•             Master’s degree preferred
