We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Affluent Cards Product Specialist based in Singapore.  Being part of our team means that we’ll provide you with the resources to meet your unique needs, empower you to make healthy decision and manage your financial well-being to help plan for your future. 

As a senior member of our Product team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative product plans, strategies, and tactics for our suite of affluent card products. You will collaborate closely with the Product Management team to drive market share growth and establish a leading competitive position in the SG and HK markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in the consumer financial services space and contribute directly to the expansion of our Wealth Management franchise.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead product innovation: Conceptualize and develop cutting-edge card product solutions tailored to the needs of affluent clients in Singapore and Hong Kong. Manage the lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early engagement and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance. Leverage relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and portfolio growth.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps: Create and implement product strategies and roadmaps aligned with the overall business objectives of our wealth management division. Use market data,  technology trends, and competitive benchmarking to advise and provide insights and recommendations on innovative and strategic product development, product targeting, and segmentation strategies.
  • Drive market share growth: Identify opportunities to expand our market presence and increase share of wallet among affluent customers.
  • Collaborate across business lines: Partner with stakeholders across different lines of business to synergize card product solutions and platforms, maximizing their impact across the wealth management franchise.
  • Monitor market trends: Stay abreast of industry best practices, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform product development and strategy.
  • Analyze product performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct data analysis to optimize product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Appropriately assess risk : when business decisions are made, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguard Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What You Will Bring:

  • Deep understanding of affluent consumers: Proven experience serving the affluent segment and a strong understanding of their financial needs and preferences.
  • Consumer business acumen: Solid foundation in consumer financial services, with a focus on card products and wealth management.
  • Strategic thinking and execution: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, translate market insights into actionable product initiatives, and drive results.
  • Collaboration and communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess market data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions.

Qualification:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional team to define and achieve high value business goals
  • Broad and diverse functional experience (e.g. marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, analytics)
  • Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
  • Experience in scenario development and forecasting as well as experience serving a range of clients
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes across asset classes

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
