Job Overview
The Tech & Netwk Build Sr Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.Responsibilities:
- Participates in internet development initiatives. Develops understanding of high-volume self-service internet applications in the financial industry and associated multi-disciplinary domain knowledge (customer service, operations and marketing) to drive continual improvement in deployment processes.
- Interfaces with junior business partners, vendors and any other stakeholders driving internet initiatives. Communicates progress to manager.
- Ensures the best client implementation experience in all host to host projects by completing all assigned internal and external project related activities for a timely and smooth delivery. Handles less complex client concerns where able and escalate critical issues.
- Able to prioritize multiple projects, closely monitors progress and follows up accordingly. Able to leverage technology resources to pull metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Technology or application/ systems experience. Results orientation – evidence of proactively driving projects to conclusion. Excellent communication skills. Organizational and planning skills. Negotiation, decision making and problem solving skills. Ability to manage high workload within a pressurized environment. Flexibility – ability to manage a varying workload (ie, volume, complexity and composition). Ability to manage complex integration solutions, working alongside Technical and Technology teams. Excellent work ethic – willingness to take a “hands on” approach to ensuring all elements of the solution are delivered as specified. Attention to detail and experience of working in a controlled environment
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

- The role of the Client Technical Integration Senior Analyst sits within our Technical Integration Group, reporting to one of our Team Leaders. In the role you will be working directly with our top-tier clients from project kick-off to go-live, helping them to integrate their ERP/TMS systems with Citi’s powerful set of Cash Management Products. The main objective of the role is to deliver Client Solutions on time and to spec, whilst providing an exceptional client experience. This is achieved through excellent communication, superior product knowledge, the ability to see things from our customer’s perspective and Project Management discipline. We work in a multi-client, multi-project organisation, so you will be expected to handle a varied workload and prioritize effectively. Around 80% of your workload will be Cash Management related (e.g. Payments and Receivables), so Supply Chain Finance and/or Commercial Card experience is favourable, but not mandatory. Although a technical mind-set is required to be successful in the role, the specific technical knowledge related to electronic banking projects (e.g. connectivity, security, file formats, testing, etc) is not a mandatory requirement for an applicant, although favourable. As long as you have the willingness to learn, and the ability to pick up things quickly you will be considered. Key functions of the role will include:
- Day to day management of a portfolio of electronic banking projects.
- Ensuring that all projects are governed to meet our ISO Quality Standards and Audit criteria.
- Build great external client relationships, and internal partnerships with supporting parts of the organisation.
- Contribute and participate in process re-engineering activities to ensure we continue to strive forwards in terms of quality and efficiency in everything we do.
- Fluent English is mandatory
- PMP Certification is highly desirable
