Job Description

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for accounting transaction processing originating from Markets trading desks and Banking business. The overall objective of this role is to properly process/report business transaction financial data into Citi’s financial control environment.

Responsabilities

• Perform balance sheet analysis (income statements when applicable) from a product perspective
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze system issues and handle the fix with technology teams
• Participate in process/system changes initiatives
• Provide support to local Markets/Banking business and finance teams in the U.S., Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, India and Philippines (not limited to).
• Perform accounting setup in product systems based in Accounting Policy opinion
• Analyze transaction details in General Ledger to reflect accurate accounting breakdown
• Analyze settlement transaction details in general ledger
• Perform general ledger adjustments when applicable from a product perspective

Qualifications

• Local (BR) and US GAAP knowledge
• 2-5 years relevant experience in an accounting role or related field
• Experience in financial industry is highly desirable

Education

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree preferable in Accounting
• English advanced/fluent level
• Product knowledge is desirable: Fixed Income & Equity Securities, Money Markets, Commodities, Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Derivatives, and proprietary hedge funds.
• Programming skills is desirable

• Não é necessário ser contador para a posição. Entretanto, ter experiência ou contato com USGAAP e BRGAAP é uma experiência interessante
• A posição pertence a uma estrutura que engloba o processamento contábil e seus respectivos reflexos dos produtos da mesa de Markets, como Renda Fixa, Equities, Derivativos...Contato ou experiência com esses produtos é desejável
