Job Overview

The Region Head for the Branch Network plays a pivotal role in driving Citi's growth and market share across a defined geography within its core markets. This senior executive leadership position is accountable for the overall performance of the region, ensuring exceptional client experience, fostering talent and engagement, achievement of sales and financial goals and maintaining robust risk and control environments across Retail Banking, Mortgage sales, and Business Banking. The role is responsible to lead region business strategy, growth and financial performance ensuring alignment with national objectives and represent Citi in the community.

Core Accountabilities include:

• Drive Market Growth: Develop and execute strategies that expand market share and strengthen Citi’s region position.

• Lead High-Performing Teams: Provide strong leadership to drive branch network performance across Retail Banking, Mortgage Sales, and Business Banking.

• Deliver Business Results: Achieve sales, revenue, and financial goals through disciplined planning and execution.

• Optimize Resources: Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and expense management to maintain operational efficiency and business alignment. • Strengthen Risk & Controls: Uphold rigorous risk, control, and compliance standards across all business lines.

• Elevate Leadership Bench Strength: Develop leaders and teams while enhancing client experience and cultivating strong, lasting client relationships.

Business Priorities include:

• Client Obsession: Foster a client-first culture and use insights to shape region strategies.

• Employee Experience & Talent Development: Advance talent development, staffing, and Voice of the Employee initiatives.

• Risk & Controls Excellence: Drive strong policy adherence, operational control, and timely escalation.

• Business Growth & Productivity: Lead strategies that increase market share and elevate sales performance.

• Branch Network Optimization: Execute physical network strategies, leverage investments, and lead growth-focused region activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Region Performance and Growth Strategy: Accountable for the overall performance of one or more Core Markets within the Branch Network. Leads the development and execution of local and national strategies to achieve growth plans, increase market share across Retail Banking, Mortgage, and Business Banking, and manage the region's scorecard performance.

• Leadership and Team Management: Provides strategic leadership to large teams, including Branch, Mortgage sales and Business Banking, fostering a high-performing, client-centric culture. Leads talent and development for the region, encompassing engagement, staffing and learning initiatives.

• Client Experience: Builds a culture of client excellence, leveraging national initiatives and strategies. Develops region plans based on client surveys, external data (i.e. JD Power), and employee feedback. Drives continuous improvement by solving client pain points and ensuring service consistency and client satisfaction.

• Risk and Control Management: Champions a strong risk and control culture across the region. Manages operational and risk performance, ensuring robust execution of branch control processes, supports audit/compliance exams and leads risk forums. Ensures region preparedness and resilience for Continuity of Business events. Appropriately assesses risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and ethical practices.

• Cross-Business Collaboration and Partnerships: Builds and develops strong working relationships, collaborating with colleagues across multiple businesses (e.g., Wealth, Cards) and functions to bring the collective power of Citi to Core Markets. Instrumental in leading partnerships in support of overall market growth.

• Network Optimization and Transformation: Ensures strong execution of physical network strategies in the region to optimize all three lines of business. Oversee the implementation of strategies and initiatives to transform the bank for the future by providing. Provides insights on evolving industry trends, overseeing change management, ensuring consistent execution and resource deployment.

• Technology and Enablement Modernization: Lead communication and execution of the technology and enablement priorities across the region. • Community Engagement: Represents Citi in the community through engagement with organizations, volunteerism, and media opportunities to enhance the company's reputation and create growth opportunities. Qualifications

• 15+ years related business experience.

• 10+ years of sales and multi-level management experience.

• 5+ years of Retail Banking, Mortgage, or Business Banking experience.

• Experience working in or overseeing Affluent/High Net Worth customers, mortgage, business banking, and DeNovo branches.

• Proven experience in multi-site and multi-level management environments. Skills:

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

• Demonstrate ability to drive business growth, manage P&L/scorecard, and achieve strategic objectives in a complex, regulated environment.

• Strong understanding of financial products and services, market dynamics, and client needs.

• Proven expertise in risk management, compliance, and control frameworks.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

• Ability to digest vast communications across the bank and effectively disseminate key messages and priorities. Education

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent is required.

• Master's degree is preferred
