Job Overview

A SWIFT SME with a strong understanding of SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SWIFTNet Link (SNL), SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), Alliance Webplatform (AWP), New Payments Platform (NPP), Alliance Gateway Instant (AGI), and Hardware Security Module (HSM) is required in Pune for the Global Financial Messaging group. This role is critical in managing global financial messaging applications that connect to the SWIFT infrastructure.

This role demands a very high level of commitment and a strong sense of accountability and responsibility for the SAG-SNL, SAA, AWP, NPP-AU, AGI, and HSM applications within the global financial messaging team. The role requires a person to be dynamic and very hands-on, not only in terms of technical knowledge but also in project, change, release, stakeholder, and vendor management.

Owing to the ever-changing regulatory framework in various countries, changes will be very high-impact and frequent for these global applications. The candidate should be comfortable working in a challenging and demanding environment. There is a need for a quick learner who can understand the different applications of global financial messaging at a fast pace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full accountability and responsibility for 2-3 applications as a lead in the team.

• Partner effectively with all downstream applications so that any changes can be communicated to them on time and are well-tested.

• Be 70% hands-on and the rest of the time lead and guide a team of 3-4 employees.

• Build strong relationships with partners, team members, and all stakeholders.

• Report status in a concise way to all the stakeholders of the global financial messaging team at a predefined frequency.

• Keep track of projects, programs, and releases (deliveries) and keep statuses aligned with stakeholder requirements/deadlines.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Candidate should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MCA/MCS.

• Good knowledge of SWIFT Infrastructure & associated SWIFT-based products & Services.

• Knowledge of SWIFT FileAct, Interact, FIN/MT messages, and ISO20022 formats.

• Hands-on experience with SWIFT-developed Applications like SAG-SNL, SAA, AWP, HSM & SWIFTNet Browse Services.

• Experience in working with large set-ups and businesses globally will be an advantage.

• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Good communication skills and will be able to communicate efficiently with Global Teams worldwide.

• 5-10 Years of relevant experience in the SWIFT Domain.

Skills Required:

• Experience in the complete SDLC (development, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting) on UNIX and Windows.

• Should have knowledge of the Change Management life cycle.

• Should have knowledge of ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of security management tools will be an advantage.

• Technically competent, well-organized, pro-active, and comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology, or engineering) or MCA/MCS.

Work Schedule:

• The candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on a need basis in order to interact with the US/UK team and to meet urgent requests by Clients.
