OTC Derivatives Technology team works with our institutional business within capital markets. The team supports the Oasys suite of products which are franchise critical applications responsible for Trade Processing, Confirmation, Settlement, Margin and interfaces to regulatory firms, books and records for all OTC Derivatives covering Rates, Equities, Credit, FX and Commodities.

Job Purpose:  The QA team is responsible for the overall quality and stability of all changes released to production. This role requires functional domain knowledge, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a good team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

Change the Bank activities. Work with the Product Owner to understand the project’s needs and help formulate a strategy for achieving the necessary level of quality, ensuring that such strategy is aligned with the delivery process and the needs of the client. Ensure test coverage for functional and non-functional requirements.

Run the Bank activities. Ensure production stability via a robust quality process. Help with defect management, regression test suite maintenance, root cause analysis and preventative measures.

Agile Transformation. Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies - backlog grooming, work with team to refine acceptance criteria, perform impact analysis, create a test plan based on risk assessment, and engage in daily stand ups retrospectives.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum 8-year hands-on experience in testing and test coordination
  • Proven experience in leading coordination of UAT cycle on business-critical applications
  • Financial Product knowledge, Derivatives being a distinct advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of UNIX, shell scripting, SQL
  • Knowledge of Agile testing lifecycle and methodologies
  • Proficient with test management and defect tracking tools and associated reports.
  • A recognized testing qualification would be beneficial, though not essential if you have solid commercial experience in coordinating/conducting UAT activity.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (in science, mathematics, engineering, or finance)
