Job Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Design & develop reporting solutions using Tableau with MSaaS/MongoDb/Hive databases in both transactional and analytical environments.
Provide technical walk-throughs to business and technology stakeholders.
Be able to work independently as well as within a global team.


Responsibilities:

• Experience with all the components of Tableau suite including but not limited to Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep,Tableau flow  and Tableau Architecture.
• Experience in Tableau Advanced concepts must
• Must have strong experience in Tableau development in reports, dashboards and documents.
• Ability to create complex reports requiring multiple parameters, summarizing data with crosstabs, using sections and section underlay for groups,LOD and related report functions.
• Experience in Tableau schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance.
• Tableau Security implementation both dashboard and data level restriction must.
• Strong SQL database programming skills in developing highly performant reporting and business intelligence solutions. 
• Works directly with end-users or a projects team to translate business requirements into technical specifications to drive semantic layer and report
• Work global team for critical CFP month end production releases  
• Develop report prototypes and review and fine tune report deliverables with business users.
• Must be able to work on free form SQL reporting.
• Python skill will be added advantage. 
• Finance domain knowledge will be added advantage.
  

Recommended Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Tableau development
• Interact with Business users and understand their requirements from a data analytics, visualization and UI/UX perspective
• Design and Develop Dashboards in Tableau using different data sources
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable business insights
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
