The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Services Technology is looking for an experienced - Apps Development Sr Manager

We are looking for an avid technologist who -

• Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of development methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information.
• Deals with most problems proactively and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid grasp of industry standards and practices.
• Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact.
• Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
• With a developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex information.
• Can be moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
• Develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs by applying skills and knowledge of the business.
• Co-ordinate different agile call with development team.
• Conduct architectural & design reviews and facilitate Cloud API solution delivery with technical excellence.
• Provide technical guidance & leadership to the team. Independently interface with clients for technical discussions and ensure completion of all architectural responsibilities.

Here is what you bring -

• You have 12+ years of experience in developing & managingEnterprise applications out of which 6 yrs. in Tech Lead.
• You are expert in architecting enterprise-wide solutions using Spring cloud framework.
• You are having deep knowledge of application workflows and integration design
• Expert level knowledge on software architectural principles and design patterns
• Ability to identify the risks and develop mitigation strategy proactively
• Provide recommendations on development methodologies, frameworks applicability, technology choices, relevant tool set etc.
• Extensive experience in Java, J2EE, Microservice, Spring Cloud and integration framework.
• Extensive experience in Dockers and Kubernetes
• Strong Experience in DevOps tools and process
• You have experience in UI Frameworks & Technologies like Angular, JavaScript, Node JS etc.
• Experience in Java Messaging services using Apache Kafka
• Experience in tools like Git/Bitbucket, Team city, uDeploy and IBM APIM
• Hands on experience in Linux Platform with knowledge of day-to-day routine commands
• You have excellent writing and communication skills, with a knack for taking technical language and making it comprehensible
• Good to have Knowledge on Python and Gen AI tools

On a typical day here is what you could do -

• You will provide technical and business supportfor users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
• You will act as a liaison between users, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors and as an advisor or coach to new or junior analysts.
• You will participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production. Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates. Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• You will maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm.
• You will manage, maintain, and supportapplications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations.
• You will assist in appropriately assessing risks when business decisionsare made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal

•  Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
