Job Overview

We are seeking a AI augmented Full Stack Java Engineer to play a critical role in managing and enhancing our Reg BoW This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of overseeing Business As Usual (BAU) for PRA, collaborating directly with the RADAR team, and instrumental in developing and maintaining Python-based data ingestion frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PRA BAU Management:Single-handedly oversee and manage the Business As Usual (BAU) Book of Work for PRA-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • RADAR Team Collaboration:Collaborate directly with the RADAR team to integrate solutions and ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
  • Python Framework Development:Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, Python-based automation frameworks for critical PRA processes.
  • Automation & Optimization:Develop scalable and maintainable Python scripts and applications, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and auditability of automation solutions.
  • Technical Contributions:Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven hands-on experience in FS Java and Python developmentwith a strong focus on automation and data processing.
    • Familiarity with financial regulatory reporting, specificallyPRAguidelines and processes.
    • Experience working withRADARor similar risk/regulatory data platforms.
    • Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Leadership & Problem Solving:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex workstreams independently.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in regulatory technology (RegTech).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
