FRMT Applications Support Analyst - 10

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced [4+ years] to join our Production/Application support team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of good technical skills [Unix, SQL, ITIL, Autosys]

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 production support for mission applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and resolve incidents related to batch failures.
• Engage with operations, traders, quants, development teams to understand and resolve production outages/issues.
• Proactively manage alerts, logs and jobs using Autosys, Unix tools, and monitoring platforms [ ITRS/AWP ].
• Maintain and improve knowledge bases, SOPs, and runbooks for production support.
• Perform initial root cause analysis [RCA] , conduct post incident reviews, and drive permanent resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ Years of experience in application production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with.

• Unix/Linus [ scripting, file manipulation, job control]
• SQL [ MSSQL]
• Job Schedulers like Autosys.
• Log analysis tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
• Experience with ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management.
