FRMT Applications Support Analyst - 10
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced [4+ years] to join our Production/Application support team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of good technical skills [Unix, SQL, ITIL, Autosys]
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 production support for mission applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor and resolve incidents related to batch failures.
- Engage with operations, traders, quants, development teams to understand and resolve production outages/issues.
- Proactively manage alerts, logs and jobs using Autosys, Unix tools, and monitoring platforms [ ITRS/AWP ].
- Maintain and improve knowledge bases, SOPs, and runbooks for production support.
- Perform initial root cause analysis [RCA] , conduct post incident reviews, and drive permanent resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ Years of experience in application production support.
- Strong hands-on experience with.
- Unix/Linus [ scripting, file manipulation, job control]
- SQL [ MSSQL]
- Job Schedulers like Autosys.
- Log analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Experience with ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management.
