Job Overview
This is DotNet Developer role in the Commodities Market Data IT team for Pune(India) location.
The team is responsible for sourcing, distribution and governance of market data for Commodities business globally. Market data system interacts with most of the other systems within Commodities business for trading activities like pricing, risk calculation etc.
Technical/Functional Qualifications:
• 3+ years of C# DotNet Application developement experience
• Good understanding of Database(RDBMS); working knowledge of SQL queries
• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience of using AI based tools like Co-pilot to improve productivity
• Ability to coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to get things done
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage timelines
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Responsibilities:
• Design/Architect, Develop, Test, Deploy and Maintain Market Data related components with focus on Stability, Performance, Resiliency
• Contribute towards improving the SDLC and DevOps processes, tools adoption for the platform
• Bring new ideas for process improvement and productivity gains
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• Work directly with peer technologists to understand requirements as well as other technology teams within Commodities
• Use industry best practices in Software development
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
