Investor Services Operations comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Funds and Execution Services businesses. This new and exciting space for our clients where our business is looking to lead the way.
We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Asset Operations - Junior Analyst. In this role, you’re expected to:
The Junior Analyst will be responsible for accurately processing and validating settlement transactions for digital assets on blockchain networks, ensuring all activities are completed within defined cut-offs, security guidelines, and operational controls. The role demands precision, adherence to standard operating procedures, and the ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. Prior experience in settlements and reconciliations is required. Knowledge of blockchain or digital asset workflows will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transaction Execution: Process settlement instructions for digital assets on approved blockchain networks.
• Settlement Verification: Validate settlement details including wallet addresses, transaction hashes, asset types, and quantities before execution.
• On-Chain Confirmation: Monitor blockchain explorers to confirm settlement completion within required timeframes.
• Reconciliation: Compare on-chain transaction records with internal custody and settlement systems to identify and escalate breaks.
• Exception Handling: Investigate failed, delayed, or mismatched settlements and escalate to checkers or supervisors per protocol.
• Security Compliance: Follow established key management, wallet access, and security protocols during settlement activities.
• Audit & Documentation: Maintain accurate transaction logs, settlement reports, and audit trails in accordance with policy.
• Operational Coordination: Work with internal control teams and blockchain support staff to resolve operational discrepancies.
• Process Adherence: Ensure all settlement activities align with defined SLAs, regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in settlements and reconciliations (digital asset or securities operations).
• Exposure to blockchain transaction flows, custody platforms, or on-chain reconciliation tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and transaction verification methods preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reconciliation and reporting.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in transaction processing.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-volume workloads.
• Strong problem-solving skills for settlement exceptions.
• Effective communication for clear escalation and status reporting.
