Job Overview

The Compliance UAT Testing Analyst will report into the Policy Automation and Execution team to support UAT application testing across a variety of platforms. This role will support planning, coordination and execution of digital application testing within an Agile Scrum environment. This position will work with business requestors and developers proactively to plan testing aligned to development user stories and participate as a key stakeholder when making release decisions. This position will play a key role in working closely with product owners to develop and maintain the policy technology roadmap.  Developed user testing & documentation skills are required in order to influence and support our technology roadmap.

Serves as a compliance risk officer for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation and design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protects the franchise. In addition, engages with the ICRM product and function coverage teams, in order to partner to develop and apply CRM program solutions that meet business and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi program framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of policy technologies & applications
  • Forecast effort and availability to support technology releases and other product management needs
  • Proactively and effectively communicate status and potential risks stemming from work efforts
  • Partner closely with product ownership team members and development team members to understand business & technical requirements and document what evidence is required in the testing process
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Policy Technology Applications with the ability to effectively communicate to senior technology and business stakeholders, often tailoring the message to the individual and their level of technical knowledge
  • Promote good working relationships across projects, exemplifying the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among stakeholders, its sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and project team members
  • Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of product development / user testing experience with exposure to Agile Scrum, with experience in Jira
  • 1+ years of experience with compliance or policy technologies
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Jira
  • Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus; Advanced degree a plus
