Job Overview
Citi is seeking an Analyst to join its Natural Resources (Metals & Mining) corporate advisory team in Perth.
This is a unique opportunity to join an established and tight-knit team in Perth, engage in client-facing activities from day one and work closely with senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial modelling: Build and maintain complex financial models for valuation purposes.
Transaction execution: Play an integral role in all stages of transaction execution, from initial pitch to closing.
Preparation of client-facing materials: Create high-quality pitch books, presentations and other marketing materials.
Industry research: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies and trends within the metals and mining sector.
Client support: Support senior team leaders in client relationship management and day-to-day client interaction.
About You:
Experience: 1-4 years of relevant corporate finance (including Big 4 or boutique) or corporate development experience.
Natural resources: Direct experience and a passion for the metals & mining sector will be highly regarded.
Skills: Exceptional financial modelling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and analysis clearly and concisely.
Work ethic: A strong work ethic, high level of attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
