Business Overview:

The Public Sector Lockbox business, a 24/7 operational unit, provides critical services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and important documents. This role offers an exciting opportunity within the North America TTS Client Operations – Public Sector Lockbox team, supporting both Operations and Leadership Teams across all Public Sector locations. The responsibilities described is not an exhaustive list of duties, and additional tasks may be assigned based on business demands. Successful candidates must also successfully complete the government-required background check.  Extended hours may be required to complete job requirements. 

Job Description:

This person provides operational support for the Public Sector Lockbox Operations team and management, with the primary focus on developing, maintaining, and managing the organization's performance measures and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical and technical skills to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Measurement & Reporting:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust operations performance measures to ensure accurate and timely availability of reports essential for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure weekly/monthly operations reporting metrics are provided timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand unique reporting needs, providing guidance and support in establishing effective reporting solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing reporting tools, proactively identifying areas of enhancement, implementing upgrades, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
  • Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues through regular audits, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all reports.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis on risk points, anomalies, and exceptions within the reporting framework.
• Data Analysis & Visualization:
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify key trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to diverse audiences.
  • Leverage performance measures to develop and maintain capacity planning tools.
  • Generate ad hoc tools and reports as required to support business needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Presentation:
  • Train and support end-users in effectively utilizing performance measures, providing guidance on report generation, data extraction, and interpretation.
  • Prepare and present insightful reports and analyses derived from performance measures to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Operational Excellence & Compliance:
  • Produce weekly and monthly scorecards to assess and track employee performance.
  • Provide detailed headcount tracking and reporting for both permanent and contractor staffing.
  • Ensure strict adherence to departmental policies and compliance guidelines for both Citi and the client.
  • Proactively identify control deficiencies, escalate issues in a timely manner, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Review and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas of opportunity for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is a requirement for this position.
• Background Check: Required to pass an extensive background check that is renewed every 5 years.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in a lockbox operations environment preferred. 

• Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in managing complex Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Advanced level knowledge of Tableau development including Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Coding, SQL and VBA
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and identify solutions.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences and at all levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations effectively.
  • Strong listening skills to understand stakeholder needs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of employees.
• Work Ethic & Adaptability:
  • Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately under pressure and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$78,080.00 - $117,120.00
