Job Overview

The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst is responsible for contributing to compliance of Citi Data Governance Policy with a focus on Data Concern Remediation Management (DCRM) program. The focus of this role may be on one or more of the following areas: DCRM policy adoption and compliance, controls framework performance, issue management process, regulatory/ audit response/action tracking and cross Services collaboration enabling execution for Data Managers

This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with multiple teams to implement and comply with Citi Data Governance Policy with focus on DCRM program and Control framework
  • Provide expertise on DCRM program including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processes
  • Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting
  • Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise DCRM strategy roll out, including reporting metrics, regulatory deliverables, controls and compliance to policies and procedures
  • Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies within DCRM program
  • Support and enable DCRM lifecycle execution for Data Managers
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Manage governance forums across the DCRM program
  • Identification of relevant metrics and KPIs and support reporting needs
  • Management of cross-Services deliverables

  • Interface with EDO for deliverables, tooling, clarifications and feedback

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency

  • Assists in the remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback on issues and concern

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Requires basic commercial awareness
  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
