Job Overview
A Compliance Communications Lead is a seasoned professional role that integrates communications subject matter and compliance expertise. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas compliance risks should be managed and communicated internally as well as within the firm. The role will directly support Compliance senior leadership in their communications needs including advisories, bulletins, storytelling, executive board materials and employee engagement communications.
Demonstrated communication, storytelling, and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence in designated coverage areas and occasional stakeholders outside of immediate department. Significant impact on the area through quickly moving and multi-faceted deliverables. Work impacts across several areas within Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop compliance strategy for relevant Compliance Senior Leader to ensure appropriate communication to manage compliance risk
- Work with partner groups and Global Public Affairs colleagues to develop integrated Internal Communications strategies that support franchise-wide priorities and business line specific programs
- Disseminate key information to large audiences using a variety of communication techniques including direct email, existing bulletins, storytelling, video, etc.
- Create required reporting to manage the data related to Compliance communications including volumes, click rates, turn times, etc
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made to ensure appropriate communication is executed
- Collaborate across the department and firm to ensure communication strategies are cohesive and utilize the firms’ resources optimally while demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
- Drive appropriate ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Responsibility for senior level ICRM meetings including townhalls, and other communication forums across the group
- Additional duties as assigned including drive and support of departmental culture and operational related activities.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with databases and information management
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision; Takes initiative, identifies opportunities and consistently to take ownership, deliver with pride and willingness to perform and succeed as a team.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
