We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Trade and Working Capital Sales Specialist.
What you’ll do:
The role requires the individual to generate new business by proactively identify documentary services & trade finance opportunities, leading or supporting client pitches and recommending innovative trade finance solutions. The Tasks for this role will include most of the following:
Leading origination efforts of Trade and Working Capital Sales for a dedicated portfolio of clients and prospects by establishing new relationships and strengthening existing ones
Execute a robust growth plan to target new customers (New to Bank and New to Trade)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank
Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
Work with client services and operations teams to develop and drive changes and improvements to Core Trade operating models, procedures and practices
Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
Provides support for senior trade specialists
Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure

This is a highly visible position to Senior Management in North American and other geographies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
6+ years minimum related experience
2+ years of core trade and other trade finance experience required
Detailed knowledge of Credit and Underwriting standards including techniques to mitigate risk.
Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.
Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
