Sr. VP, Data Governance Lead Analyst
The Services Data Governance Office to oversees data management in BAU. This includes establishing forums, budget management, capacity planning, and oversight of data gaps/requirement against Data Policy and Regulatory requirements.
The Data Governance Lead Analyst will support the operationalization the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. The focus of this role may be on one or more of the following areas: data risk identification, measurement, and reporting, data policy adoption and compliance, data controls framework performance and issue management process, and regulatory and audit response and action tracking. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in building the Services Data Governance Office Framework.
This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. This role requires developed communication and diplomacy skills to influence others, and experience of resource management and the ability to work across multiple geographies and organisational layers.
Responsibilities:
Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting.
Support and coordinate with product/business lines on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework.
Leading data analysis, developing and synthesizing metrics on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls principles, policies, practices and standards.
Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices.
Multiple Communications and awareness related to new Data Policy requirements across Operations, Technology, Product and DCP teams, and development of online presence.
Develop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes and practices.
Provide expertise on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls framework including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processes.
Oversee the implementation of relevant processes to govern domain level capabilities and data Lifecyle capabilities and ensure all relevant governance forums and working groups are functioning efficiently in coordination with a variety of stakeholder (e.g. Product, Technology, Operations, Transformation and associated Data Management teams).
Coach team members in their role as experts for their partners on data controls framework including design, effectiveness and performance monitoring.
Ensure alignment across the business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out, including new data risk taxonomy and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework.
Measure Policy adherence and remedial action associated with Policy adherence.
Responsible for detailed analysis of governance metrics including data governance adoption and maturity.
Prepare executive/management level reporting.
Qualifications:
6-10 years relevant experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels
Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
