Job Overview
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Sr. Group Manager for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Establish and oversee the Technology Quality Control (QC) process following appropriate policies and procedures. Perform Design Effectiveness Assessment of Operations and Technology (O&T) Regulatory Commitments. Analyze and review Technology Architecture of complex financial software applications. Perform in depth technology risk assessment of O&T regulatory commitments. Test controls for all aspects of Technology and Data including Software Development Life Cycle, issue management, technology development, data lineage, capacity management, data quality and governance. Perform artifact review to test O&T controls and escalate identified issues. Assess the design of metrics. Assess the design and operating effectiveness of technology and operations controls. Independently review the technology target state and assess if the technology solution and architecture is fit for purpose. Collaborate with Data, Risk and Controls, Finance, Compliance and HR functions to provide technology subject matter expertise in identifying key controls and designing effective financial services technology architecture. Provide expert guidance and support to senior management on technology risk related matters, including risk governance, risk reporting, and risk appetite. Analyze emerging technologies and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Director, Software Engineer, VP, AVP, Programmer or related position working with complex financial software platforms. 10 years of experience must include: Technology Architecture analysis; Software development and testing controls; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Technology and data controls; Analysis of software applications programmed in languages including Java, C, C++, and Python; Program and technology project management; and Ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Additionally, 4 years of experience must include: Second Line of Defense (2LOD) within Technology Operational Risk Management. Applicants submit resumes at https://jobs.citi.com/.
