Markets Program Execution and Transformation (MPET) provide world-class solutions that are as diverse as the needs of the Global Markets business. The MPET team works with all Markets businesses and Citi functions, including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk and O&T to identify, mobilize and execute responses to regulatory and cross-business transformational projects. The primary mission of the team is to design and implement integrated solutions and sustainable capabilities in the most efficient and effective way for Global Markets and its clients. 

This role as a member of the Markets Program Execution and Transformation Team, will manage the execution of the Consent Order Article V and the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) adoption for the Global Markets business, with the associated project implementation and controls.

The Program Management Senior Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of projects in line with overall Markets Transformation book of work
  • Initially, work with Markets COO’s and Data/Process Owners to implement the adoption of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (approach to simplify E2E processes using standardized Business Processes, Functions and Data) and successfully complete the Consent Order Data Plan
  • Manage multiple streams of work to ensure timely delivery of key milestones, and tracking / resolution of risks & issues
  • Effectively coordinate teams and processes to meet program commitments
  • Effective communication and management of stakeholders, both internal and external to the program / project, including obtaining buy-in for business process and infrastructure changes
  • Liaise and clearly communicate with external parties, including clients and regulators as appropriate
  • Develop and deliver presentations covering project / program status, resourcing and plans to Markets Program Execution and COO management
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop more junior Markets Program Execution team members and matrix management of teams across businesses/functions


Skills and Competencies: – Must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of: 

  • Successful project and program management of complex work efforts with broad sets of stakeholders; ability to gain consensus among project team and stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Management and facilitation to achieve objectives, with both local and with remote teams
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills across levels of seniority to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across trading and support/infrastructure/control functions
  • Expertise and hands-on practitioner expertise in designing and implementing structured business/operational processes and business requirements documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce procedural documentation and communicate with senior management. Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Can communicate complex topics to various stakeholders to drive delivery, and risk and issue resolution


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of program and project experience, demonstrating the above Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
