Job Overview
A Depositary Receipt (“DR”) Product Manager is responsible for driving DR business growth through deal origination, pricing, product strategy, and new product development. The overall objective of this role is to own analytical, commercial, marketing and strategic aspects of the DR business and promote DRs as an effective capital markets tool for both issuers and investors.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the economic model to grow Unsponsored DR business
- Help research and identify targets for new Unsponsored programs
- Ensure all deals in existing portfolio are validated via an annual 12g3-2(b) checks
- Partner with functional and business counterparts to implement global product strategy and lead strategy related work-streams including new product development
- Conduct analysis on client and competitive climate including gathering market intelligence and industry benchmarking to maximize deal wins and retain existing client base
- Research market dynamics in public and private equity markets including trends in IPOs, cross-border investing, liquidity, valuation to optimize business strategy to increase Citi’s share of market
- Construct client collateral, reports and white papers centered around capital market intelligence as well as assist Sales and Account Management teams with the development of pitchbooks, client proposals, industry award submissions, and ad hoc market research and presentations for product promotion
- Drive innovation including working with technology and external partners/alliances to maintain/improve product status
- Focus on commercializing growth products within the business
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in depositary bank or investment bank preferred
- Equity and fixed income knowledge preferred
- Highly motivated, self-starter, resourceful, reliant, and globally minded
- Financial and statistical analysis skills, including abilities such as regression analysis, quantitative analysis, and forecasting techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with attentional to detail and ability to take direction well
- Solid understanding of capital markets and banking industries
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Demonstrated analytical and technical skills (especially Microsoft Office). Proficient with large data sets
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment in a global business
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
