  • The Model/Anlys/Valid Sr. Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing analysis and insight of legal entity and product financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.  The overall objective is to lead analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to support the firm Resolution and Recovery Plan and QMMF processes.
  • Accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas.
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
  • Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
  • Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ legal entities.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and deliver financial analysis supporting various business initiatives.
    • Work with model development team on model convergence efforts
    • Drive FP&A transformation efforts as part of continuous process improvements.  Advances and integrates models into business decisions and planning.
    • Develop model methodologies and oversee model development, validation, and implementation efforts.
    • Manage successful annual quantitative and qualitative assessments and submissions.
    • Works with large datasets and complex algorithms to solve data science challenges.
    • Ensures timely model performance tracking, and assist in process automation to drastically improve process/operation efficiencies (where possible) that will enable the business to make rapid decisions against market condition changes
    • Ensures the compliance of development and validation of models with respect to internal and external guidelines.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience
  • Excellent quantitative analytic skills; ability to derive patterns, trends and insights, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences.
  • Excellent communicator; ability to engage and inspire team forward.
  • Ability to drive innovation via thought leadership while maintaining end-to-end view.
  • Effective cross-functional project, resource, and stakeholder management; effectively engage with internal audit and external regulators.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
