  • Citi’s Head of Enterprise AIdrives Citi’s AI vision, prioritization, scalability and monetization of AI implementation across Citi in close partnership withCiti’s Chief Technology Officer who is responsible for technology architecture and build of technical tools & capabilities.

  • The Head of Enterprise AI is a general manager that will set a transformational vision and strategy for the firm to unlock material efficiency, risk and control, revenue, client experience, and talent value; and drive sharp disciplined execution to realize that value for the firm at scale. This requires innovation and operational execution skills, with strong collaboration with the Technology organization and across the firm.

  • In each business there are AI Championsand AI Accelerators who will work with Citi’s Head of Enterprise AI to pair domain knowledge with the AI Office’s expertise. 

  • Central pool of dedicated enabling resources available to Businesses / Functions:
    • Model Risk Management
    • ICRM e.g., Fair Lending
    • LEAN Process Re-engineering (internal + external specialists)
    • Legal
    • Risk
    • Controls
    • Pathfinders (external AI specialists)

  • Augment current Citi Pathfinders team (SWAT teams of junior AI engineers supporting use cases) with AI specialists (as surge support) to share the art of the possibilities with AI / Gen AI and drive the LEAN reengineering team in redefining processes to radically disrupt and simplify current operating models incorporating AI.
  • Head of Enterprise AI will report to Citi’s Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in defining firmwide AI vision and prioritization of Use Cases both Horizontal across the franchise as well as Specialized use cases with deeper impact in specific business/functions.
  • Partner with AI In-Business Champions to identify and execute Specialized use cases and develop firmwide feedback loop on Horizontal capabilities to define execution roadmap creating structural impact to Citi firmwide.
  • Own P&L with EMT on outcomes of prioritized use cases. Accountability shared with respective EMT owners with EMT owning execution and AI Head owning enabling team and support of execution.   
  • Define structure, number of, and engagement of Pathfinder teams and LEAN re-engineering teams to prioritize deployment in highest areas of impact for Citi.  
  • Collaborate with external partners to secure specialized AI talent to Citi for Pathfinders (in partnership with CTO) as well as process re-engineering talent to provide surge support.

  • Develop monetization process for AI programs and drive value tracking of benefits for approved use cases coordinating with Finance. AI Head owns firmwide AI Book of Work and decision rights to prioritize efforts.
  • Lead the AI community across businesses and functions within Citi, inclusive of AI Champions and AI Accelerators. Drive culture of ideation and feedback among the community to ensure firmwide focused execution.  Partner with learning organization in developing training / learning journey for all levels of the firm.
  • Partner with MRM, ORM, ICRM OFL, Legal and Controls to co-create an agile set of approval and control process that can scale. 
  • Unlocking Execution Enablement: Identify, mitigate, escalate execution related barriers including infrastructure and governance improvements to drive scalability and speed of our go to market.
  • Enterprise AI Head will have a lean office at the center (to be defined by the Enterprise AI Head) and will work collaboratively with all businesses and functions as well as the central pool of dedicated AI resources. 
  • Create enterprise governance and operating model with Head of Technology and Business Enablement, Head of U.S. Personal Banking and Citi’s Chief Operating Officer as EMT sponsors.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
