Job Overview
Citi is looking for a Lead Media & Acquisition Marketing Analyst to shape and drive integrated media and affiliate acquisitions strategies across branded card products and beyond. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of consumer insight, channel strategy, and cross-functional execution owning campaigns end-to-end and influencing how Citi reaches and acquires customers across a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Your work will directly affect the performance and effectiveness of Citi's marketing function, with visibility to senior leadership and meaningful impact at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated media campaigns from consumer-focused brief creation and agency briefing through to launch and ongoing optimization across paid channels and Citi-owned properties.
- Develop affiliate and aggregator channel acquisition strategies for branded and co-brand card products, identifying new partners and opportunities across the evolving digital acquisitions landscape.
- Manage the end-to-end campaign lifecycle including campaign setup, deployment, quality assurance, reporting, and auditing with an uncompromising focus on accuracy and flawless execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning social, public relations, product, digital, and media to ensure consistent, seamless message integration across all touchpoints.
- Partner with research teams to translate consumer insights into compelling campaign briefs, and apply competitive intelligence to keep campaigns relevant and ahead of market trends.
- Oversee channel capability development efforts including personalized offers, pre-qualified offers, and third-party data integration contributing to the test-and-learn roadmap with a focus on targeting, creative optimization, and audience expansion.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, providing clear, rationale-driven direction and ensuring creative output is consumer-centric, legally reviewed, and aligned to Citi's standards.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and planning teams to evaluate program performance, support forecasting, and develop data-informed recommendations that drive acquisition growth.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6–10 years of experience in consumer marketing, advertising, media strategy, or actively managing acquisition channels to target prospects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery, with a track record of flawless execution and attention to detail.
- Experience leading or coordinating multi-person internal teams and external agency relationships simultaneously across projects with competing timelines.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder influencing skills — able to align cross-functional partners and convey strategy clearly to senior leadership.
- Self-starter with the ability to maintain strategic vision while managing granular project details across multiple workstreams at the same time.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly adopt new platforms, systems, and tools as needed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

- Experience in affiliate marketing, aggregator channels, or lead generation — including personalized offers, pre-approved campaigns, or high-impact digital placements.
- Familiarity with financial services marketing, credit card P&L models, or performance reporting and analytics frameworks.
- Innovation experience originating new marketing channels, launching new products, or leading complex, first-of-kind initiatives.
- Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
