Job Overview
The Chief of Staff (CoS) for Wealth is primarily responsible for assisting the Head of Wealth in managing his daily, weekly, and monthly agenda, including the schedule of meetings, workload deliverables, helping prioritize meetings, scheduling events, obtaining pre-meeting information from clients, stakeholders, direct reports, external parties, and all individuals or groups requesting meetings with the Head of Wealth. The Chief of Staff has a “forward-looking” responsibility to help pre-plan work activities in advance of specific meetings or events to ensure the Head of Wealth is prepared for these sessions.
The Chief of Staff has multiple daily interactions with the Head of Wealth and Senior Leadership team for the Wealth business and Citigroup.
Responsibilities:
- Business Head Agenda: The Chief of Staff serves as primary scheduler and point of contact for the Head of Wealth in partnering and setting daily ,weekly, and monthly priorities for the Head of Wealth’s schedule. The ability to establish priorities of meeting schedules and strategically schedule meetings and events is a key success factor in this role. The CoS team works with the Head of Wealth on a strategic and long-term calendar plan designed to include international and domestic travel plans and attendance at key client or firm events.
- Executive Meeting & Event Management: Oversee and schedules all critical executive meetings and events for the Head of Wealth, including Chief of Staff Team Meetings, EMT Earnings Preparations, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Quarterly Offsites, SLT meetings, and Strategic meetings. This includes agenda development, speaker engagement, logistics coordination, presentation preparation, and managing follow-up actions.
- Communications & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and approve all internal and external communications for the global Wealth organization, ensuring consistency, strategic messaging, and compliance. Partner with internal communications (ESPA) and HR teams to execute the Head of Wealth's talent engagement strategy, major internal/external events (e.g., Wealth Town Halls, Extended Leadership Team meetings, media opportunities, LinkedIn presence).
- Operational Excellence & Support: Ensure seamless execution and operational excellence within the Chief of Staff function. Provide extensive administrative support including calendar management, complex business travel coordination (domestic and international, including major industry conferences), and agile support for emergent, ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
- Talent Management & Development: Support and coordinate talent engagement initiatives, including scheduling skip-level and employee engagement sessions, MD/D roll call events, early career programs, and Citi Employee Network (Citi Women) initiatives, and Voice of Employee (Annual employee survey) Task Forces.
- Risk Management & Ethical Conduct: Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating strong consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Maintains Discretion and Confidentiality: Manages confidential client and business information in an appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in financial services including technology capabilities
- Experience in people management
- Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
- Proven agility to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, environment where priorities may change
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
