The role supports capital planning functions with key responsibilities including forecasting and analyzing regulatory capital metrics, assessing the current and future capital positions, and enhancing analytical tools and automation processes.

The position will report to Head of Capital Analytics. This high visibility position will take the lead in preparing various capital related analyses for senior management executive meetings, partner across Finance and Risk disciplines, prepare analyses on implications of forward-looking regulations and M&A deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand overall regulatory capital management framework, processes and participate in Weekly Forecast update

  • Understand senior management needs and lead the performance of Regulatory Capital related analytics in a fast-paced environment

  • Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate on analyses

  • Keep track of market news and understand implications of Regulatory Capital related developments and peer capital actions

  • Lead projects to enhance Capital Forecasting & Analytics governance and controls including enhancing methodology and documentation

  • Build and maintain relationships with various departments across the Firm including FP&A, Risk, Liquidity etc. to deepen understanding of capital drivers, assist with the development of Capital Plan, and address ad hoc queries

  • Work collaboratively with second and third line of defense, and other independent reviewers

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and independently execute on analyses for senior audience

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to partner with broader Finance and Risk teams

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong ability to challenge status quo and improve manual processes through automations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields. MBA is a plus

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Regulatory Capital Management, Regulatory Reporting, FP&A, Accounting, Risk or Treasury functions

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Capital rules and stress testing (preferred), strong understanding of banking and financial products

  • Analytical mindset with curiosity for knowledge in Regulatory Capital, Basel rules, Balance Sheet and Liquidity Management etc.

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
