Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Assist clients in raising funds in capital markets and provide strategic advisory services for mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) as well as other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. Advise clients by formulating corporate and investment strategies and raising capital, and act as an intermediary in trading. Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions. Prepare clients for an equity or debt offering. Coordinate with senior-level team members, stakeholders, and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions. Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business developments, and overall growth of the firm. Draft situation analyses, and pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor management presentations for various transactions. Oversee the work of analysts and associates assigned to advisory and financing projects on a rotating basis. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administration, Business Management or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Banker, Analyst, or related position involving executing investment banking business activities including M&A, IPOs, and leveraged acquisition financing. 8 years of experience must include: Performing valuation and pricing analyses; Conducting investment banking coverage of corporate and private equity clients; and Assessing potential risks from financial transactions. 6 years of experience must include: Advising clients on investment banking products and corporate transactions; Enhancing M&A execution and capital raising capabilities including managing highly complex financial modeling, pitch-book development and production, and deal team coordination; and Recommending corporate finance products and solutions to corporate clients and management.
