Job Overview
The role of the US COO Reporting & Analytics team is responsible for the design, development, and execution of management routines supporting information requests and analytical support for various lines of business across USPB Consumer (including specialized functions). The role will directly support the interpretation of business reports and development of business analysis to assist Senior Management in identifying trending, and themes for business issues' root cause, with an emphasis on Operational Risks across USPB. More specific, this position will utilize Tableau to expand reporting capabilities for our stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Automate and normalize data from disparate data sources or systems.
- Code, test, execute, and schedule reporting requests and support ongoing business processes using various data sources to preform queries.
- Help maintain report inventory and build/define necessary controls to ensure accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Be the point person for ensuring EUC’s and required policy reviews are completed timely.
- Conduct ad-hoc requests that may include profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing of known issues/errors.
- The position requires interaction with policy, operations, and other functional business partners to ensure report accuracy.
- Participate in meetings with manager and business partners to share overall status of work, progress, and issues.
- Must be able to effectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior risk management.
Qualifications:
- Tableau – Working experience with data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in creating MIS or utilizing data sets to determine strategic initiatives.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
- Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
