Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Understand activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality.
- Continued engagement across all EMEA countries and Citi Service Centres (CSC) on conducting surveys, data collation, review and analysis.
- Engagement with Operations to identify process and control gap requiring CAP.
- Monitoring Issues and CAP for compliance with Issue Management Policy, Standards and Procedures
- Audit readiness and support in providing audit deliverables.
- Partner operations in reviewing Audit issues including validation of factual accuracy
- Review effectiveness of MCA in ensuring issue identification, Inherent/ Residual risk reporting & Continuous monitoring
- Oversee key Balance Sheet Exposure Report (BSER). Monitor trends and variances. Work with operations on remediation
- Trade Account reconciliation related projects.
- Handling Global Trade Intercompany Guarantee transactions reconciliation
- Oversight of Ops Risk Events (ORE. Entire Timely reporting. Root cause analysis for avoid recurrence.
- Preparing BAU reports, MIS, & Presentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in Trade Services Operations – Letter of Credit, Guarantee, Documentary Collection. Supply chain Finance, Trade Loan.
- Experience in handling process reviews to determine areas of improvement and enhance controls
- Networking and Collaboration. Co-ordination with senior management & Stakeholders.
- Confident, Self-motivated and Proactive.
- Experience in control related functions in Trade Services operations.
- Good knowledge in the development and execution for controls & executing sustainable solutions.
- Understanding of compliance policies, rules, & regulations
- Good analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work in team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Trade Technical qualifications (e.g. CDCS) would be an advantage
