We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Employee Relations Global Disciplinary Review Panel Facilitator, Senior Vice President – Hybrid.
The Senior Employee Relations Global Disciplinary Review Panel Facilitator’s primary responsibility is to administer Global Disciplinary Review Panel meetings in Citi’s APAC jurisdictions. The role requires a strategic professional who is a subject matter expert in disciplinary reviews and procedures, and stays abreast of developments in Employee Relations, Citi’s Global Disciplinary Review Policy and Procedures and Employment Law and contributes to the department’s directional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate, plan, convene and facilitate Disciplinary Review Panel meetings regarding substantiated investigations by all investigative units, and/or significant events matters, including critical thinking to review and credibly challenge investigation findings, at all levels.
Act as a subject matter expert on Disciplinary Review Panels, Citi’s Global Disciplinary Review Policy and related standards and procedures and applicable local due process requirements and labor laws.
Support management and HR by providing guidelines on Citi’s disciplinary procedures and any relevant local legal or regulatory requirements.
Draft show cause documents and coordinate any other local due process steps as required.
Document meeting outcomes accurately and support business and HR to prepare for execution of disciplinary decisions, as required.
Act as a change agent to both identify and execute enhancements to the disciplinary processes with focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
Adhere to established, and evolving standards, for detailed, auditable and required documentation.
Foster strong work relationships and collaboration with key investigative partners (HR Legal, country Legal, ICRM, CSIS and the Ethics Office) and other stakeholders (HR, business representatives, etc.).
Track and analyze trends, diagnose root causes, and develop recommendations for corrective strategies.
Qualifications:
10 + years’ experience, including at least five years in HR, Legal, Compliance and/or investigative functions or equivalent.
Ability to build solid relationships at all levels and influence collaborative outcomes.
Demonstrated ability in project management and executing change to increase efficiency.
Strong facilitation and investigative experience ideal.
Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment laws and regulations are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and across all functional areas, particularly senior levels (including business/function heads).
Self-motivated and with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Consistent demonstration of ownership and accountability (driven to “do the right thing”).
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, intense environment, and across multiple time zones.
Experience working globally (preferred).
