Job Overview

The Rec & Proofing Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

• Responsibilities:
• Primarily responsible for the preparation and filing of various Capital Market Regulatory Reports based on predefined metrics or KPIs in line with production frequency and timelines assigned by Regulatory.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of Regulatory Reports.
• Attention to detail and must work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement process changes, improve productivity, and optimize reporting efficiency.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirement and update process notes accordingly. Ensure proper documentation with required approvals.
• Analyze data and identify factors contributing towards variances.
• Provide insights on process and recommendation for improvement/ automation.
• Maintain detailed record for reports submitted and queries received from regulator.
• Assists project manager and work with business users to gather business requirements and draft Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
• Performs User acceptance testing on assigned risk and technology solutions. Proactively mitigates and manage testing & project issues.
• Stay informed about industry practices and integrate them into regulatory reporting process.
• Effectively identify and mitigate risks / issues while ensuring continued compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Performs data analysis to monitor and track data quality and completeness of data.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  Qualifications:
• 5-8 years’ experience and ability to partner with business & technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Regulatory Reports related to Capital Market Investment by corporates preferably FPI.
• Prior experience in Regulatory domain especially RBI / SEBI reporting is preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret business requirements for the purpose of liaising with technology developers.
• Strong ability to interpret  new regulatory requirements and  implementation of the same.
• Knowledge of Securities Services Products (Custody, Funds Services, Issuer Services) and Services Regulatory Reporting domain.
• Experience managing tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Background in Data Analytics preferred.

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
