The TTS Sanctions Operations function supports sanctions processes globally across Citi’s TTS business. This function strives to a) Make Sanctions processes a competitive advantage; (b) Drive efficient, agile technology and processes (c) Full compliance to strategic operating model across TTS lines of business (d) Build strong risk / controls focus, ensure minimal surprises and (e) Deliver on all targeted improvement programs.
Overview:
The Operations Resource Optimization Analyst sits at the center of the Sanctions Operations organization, focused on improving operational efficiency by analyzing data to optimize resources (people, time, processes) and ensuring these insights are communicated effectively across the organization serving as a key driver of operational excellence across our global footprint. This individual will play a critical part in executing departmental strategies through deep cooperation with our international hubs, contributing to the continuous improvement of our risk and control framework. This is a strategic analyst role focused on process and resource optimization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Support:
Support the strategic management of global resources by analyzing operational trends, productivity, and efficiency across L1 and L2 functions within a Follow-the-Sun (FTS) model.
Contribute to process standardization and global work queue optimization initiatives by fostering strong partnerships with our global hubs to enhance cross-regional support.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives (OKRs), ensuring alignment with global departmental goals and identifying areas for improvement.
Employee & Resource Management Support:
Support the execution of employee/non-employee engagement, career development, and communication strategies within the department.
Assist with resourcing strategies, including headcount management analysis and onboarding process coordination.
Global Connectivity & Collaboration:
Act as a central point of contact to facilitate communication and ensure seamless operational hand-offs between hubs in different time zones.
Champion a culture of global collaboration, working closely with regional teams to identify and share best practices.
Risk, Control & Compliance:
Partner with ICRM, Risk & Control, and other key stakeholders to assist in the implementation and maintenance of the department's risk and control framework.
Participate in quality reviews, analyze results, and support the implementation of corrective actions to ensure adherence to global policies and procedures.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or a strategic support role, preferably within a financial services environment.
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, collaborating effectively with teams across different time zones and cultures.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and operational trends.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
