The Financial Planning and Analysis Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Legal Entity Forecasting team. The overall objective is to apply analytical thinking, knowledge of data analysis and methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Analysis of Citi’s/Citi’s Legal Entity Forecast

• Develop and coordinate the annual / quarterly planning and periodic forecasting processes and review results including annual planning, Quarterly Outlook and Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) process at the Legal Entity Level

• Conduct various ad hoc analysis and address issues timely

• Aid with using metrics to evaluate proposed Legal Entity Forecasting decisions

• Assist in the development of review materials for internal senior leadership internal and external regulator reviews

• Work across the wider Legal Entity Forecasting team to ensure automation / optimization of processes and understanding of how underlying Legal Entity results are generated and can be improved

Skills Required

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance

• Experience in financial services preferred

• Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools

• Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoints skills preferred

• Demonstrated analytical skills

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
