Responsibilities
The EDO (Enterprise Data Office) Business Execution VP role supports the execution of the Data Transformation Program Staffing & Financial Commitments and delivery of new staffing and financial governance processes and controls introduced under the 2020 Consent Order Article V and Article X commitments. These responsibilities are primarily focused on providing direct support in the execution of the deliverables associated with these initiatives working in very close partnership with the ACT (Accountability, Culture & Talent) Program; EDO Leadership; HR and Finance partners.
There are several initiatives in scope and strong connectivity between them is critical to driving the overall outcomes and achievements associated with this area of Citi’s overall Transformation and Consent Order commitments. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, resourceful and responsive individual who can support the commitment owner in their responsibilities to provide reliable reporting and insightful analytics used to provide updates to senior stakeholders, executive management and the regulators.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing direct support to the owner of Consent Order Commitments under the Data Program Article V (owner of romanette V.2.b.iii).
- Ensuring staffing and skills adequacy as well as sufficient financial funding to support the delivery of the Data Plan.
- Support for these regulatory commitments requires close partnership with the delegates for the senior Data Leads to provide reliable and timely reporting and analysis that support metrics performance and process controls to evidence successful delivery.
- Prepare materials used for updates for the Data Governance Program forums and regulatory responses.
- Project manage and document the Data Program Commitments (e.g. status updates, writing closure documents and collating artifacts to evidence completion of the deliverables) including coordination with Data Leads’ teams within each of the Businesses/Functions/Regions.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience (project management and reporting/analysis type activities)
- 3+ years within financial organization
- 3+ years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
- 3+ years experience with data metrics
- 3+ years experience working with senior leaders
- Strong organizational and communication skills are key
- Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently with proactive, resourceful tendencies
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and unexpected requirement changes as needed
- Knowledge of technology a plus
- Influencing skills is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
