Job Overview

The Olympus Wholesale Lending Credit Risk team is building a next generation Data Fabric solution to solve the evolving Business, Analytical and Regulatory needs of Citi’s Lending business.  The Data Fabric will bring together disparate data sources for Institutional Credit Management (ICM) organization and enable industry-leading analytics, client reporting, regulatory, surveillance, supervisory reporting(s) and data science solutions.

The ideal candidate will have Financial Services experience as well as background in dealing with wholesale loans data across various line of business.  Experience in implementing data solutions and Knowledge of big data platform will be a significant advantage. The candidate will work closely with the product owner, other Business Analysts, Internal technology teams, and core developers. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential in order to be successful in this role.

The Senior Technology Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze wholesale loans data requirements and identify disparate data sources required for consolidation.

• Document functional specifications and coordinate delivery of the same with technology team.

• Design logical and conceptual wholesale loans data model to meet business requirements.

• Work with the stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications, functional design and associated documentation.

• Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.

• Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Citi’s Project Management Standards

• Ensure the business reporting needs are met with the most elegant and timely technology solutions

• Ensure proper development life cycle is followed with artefacts to support Internal Audit and any inquiries

• Provide production deployment support, and investigate data quality issues.

• Work with various technology leads to ensure the gaps in the data completeness or accuracy are bridged.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience

• Business/ data analysis experience in financial industry

• Subject matter expertise in financial industry - wholesale loans /lending business

• Experience with database and SQL is required

• Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis

• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle

• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

• Knowledge of Big Data platform is a huge plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master's degree preferred
