The role reports directly to the UK, Europe & MEA Cluster Head of Core Accounts and involves close partnership with other Services product teams, technology, operations, and risk & controls first and second line teams.

What you’ll do

As a Core Accounts Product Manager

  • Provide strategic direction on product development, representing customer needs and partnering with sales and client management to identify and size new opportunities.

  • Reinforce the value stream model across Product and Technology teams, driving ownership and accountability for capabilities residing on legacy core banking infrastructure.

  • Ensure product governance and compliance by participating in the Product Approval Program and managing proactive product, documentation, credit, legal, and regulatory risks for all markets.

  • Appropriately assess and mitigate risk in all business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and escalating control issues transparently.

  • Build consensus and awareness of the product value proposition throughout the organization and with key partners.

  • Strong knowledge of Core Accounts/DDA and Services products, with a proven ability to work at scale.

  • Deep expertise in establishing and enhancing a Product controls environment.

  • Proven ability to make complex judgments, solve intricate problems, and develop effective solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience driving software delivery transformation through Agile practices and fostering a Continuous Delivery culture.

  • Exceptional diplomacy, influencing, and presentation skills for effective engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients and senior management.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
