Job Overview

Vice President within Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) is a senior relationship manager who manages 35-40 clients which are Malaysian subsidiaries of our top global relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing clients as well as solicit new-to-bank MNC clients to generate business opportunities across Cash management, Trade, FX and Financing solutions
  • Responsible for meeting assigned revenue targets
  • Serves as clients' primary contact point and responsible for coordinating with various internal stakeholders to deliver solutions, address issues and ensure high client satisfaction
  • Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients’ needs;
  • Works closely with case manager for on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met;
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;
  • Maximizes client experience by proactive sharing markets updates, trends and intelligence;
  • Networks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities
  • Prepares /oversees new transaction submissions & annual reviews for the submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department
  • Actively protects Citi’s assets and reputation by being the first line of defense from credit risk management perspective
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all times
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • Min 10 years of relevant banking experience in relationship or sales role. 12 - 15 years will be preferred
  • Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated strong planning and stakeholder management
  • Mandarin language proficiency will be preferable

Education:

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred
  • Experience with corporate clients across products like cash management, trade finance and foreign exchange risk management solutions
  • Demonstrated credit skills, including understand of risk management principles
