The Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Operations Analyst independently executes critical tasks in the non-financial regulatory reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of assigned reporting deliverables. This role applies strong understanding of regulatory data requirements and internal standards to perform control activities. Analysts support post-submission validation, prepare audit documentation, and ensure proper remediation of identified issues. They liaise with Risk, Compliance, and Technology partners to address data quality challenges. The Analyst plays an active role in tracking metrics and reporting progress to senior officers. They contribute to documentation and participate in audit readiness activities. This role supports automation and continuous improvement efforts through hands-on involvement in process reviews. The Analyst also mentors junior team members and ensures adherence to operational best practices. This role serves as a key contributor within the reporting control framework, ensuring consistent application of policy and procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Support timely and accurate submission of non-financial regulatory reports covering different jurisdictions and products. Support CSC team in submission of regulatory reports in case of non-availability of centralised submission from CSCs.

  • Resolve issues related to regulatory reporting

  • Communicate operational changes arising from remediation or process or control enhancements to Operations & Technology

  • Develop Business Requirements for system-related enhancements and End to end management of implementation of new or amended regulations

  • Reconcile positions and ensuring of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting

  • Streamline process inconsistencies, mitigate risks, and process documentation.

  • Ensure all required Citi policies & standards are implemented to ensure the compliance to avoid future risks 

  • Share knowledge among team to manage regulatory reporting operations functions.

  • Responsible for providing regulatory reporting strategic analytics, information management across Citibank products and reports to country/cluster senior management

  • Anticipate details of future regulations by communicating directly with key stakeholders and staying informed of relevant trends and industry new

  • Drive projects and process improvements

  • Coordinate engagement of geographical ICRM and business partners.

  • Support all control functions including MCA, audits, COB, Records, and procedures updates and implementation

  • Calculate and monitoring of key KPIs and metrics

  • Timely escalate issues and monitoring till resolution

  • Close cooperate with Business and Tech partners on gap identification and process improvements

  • Contribute to governance activities and operational reviews

  • Maintain effective working relationships across functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Operations, preferably in regulatory reporting spaceProven experience working with business stakeholders

  • Understanding of regulations and operational processes

  • Good understanding of Investments and Capital Market products as well as trade execution and settlement processes

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective, adjusted to recipient communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy

  • Critical thinking and drawing logic conclusions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

  • Experience in process improvement or automation

  • Knowledge of control frameworks and risk management principles
