Job Overview

The Loan Doc & Proc Analyst 2 is a developing professional role, responsible for providing comprehensive and agile support across all post-closure loan servicing events and broader Lending Operations activities, strengthening operational knowledge and relevant skills to be able to perform analysis on process changed impacts, and providing other departmental utility support.

Requires a basic understanding in processes and data to execute tasks, perform monitoring, and conduct assessments. Identifies inconsistencies in results, defines issues, and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices.

Able to work with a team, possesses an elementary communication level to interact with stakeholders from countries within the region to accomplish objectives. Continuously develops a working knowledge of industry practices and standards.

The individual must be accountable, ethical, results oriented, self-motivated, and capable of independent thinking.

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work to be performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will provide flexible support across various post-closure loan servicing events and broader Lending Operations activities, including loan instruction submissions, loan advice and reporting preparation, as well as other ad-hoc operational demands.
  • Involves providing day-to-day departmental operations and utility support such as Due Diligence reporting, Interbank Agreement reviews, premises management, and administrative tasks.
  • Assess and provide professional justification on process change impacts, then follow up and ensure necessary actions are executed to mitigate any risk of impact.
  • Demonstrates an intermediate level of understanding on products and processes, and how duties relate/integrate with members in the team and other closely related teams.
  • Utilizes communication and exercises interpersonal and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to exchange potentially complex and sensitive information, all while being sensitive to audience diversity.
  • Supports an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control) and services. Follows established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation and processing activities that require investigation or research.
  • Designs and analyses moderately complex loan documentation reports to satisfy management requirements, to support or control activities, and to assist in the launch of products or services.
  • Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and adhering to guidelines.
  • Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information and provides assistance in the implementation of loan documentation process improvements.
  • Timely management and escalation of all inquiries and issues related to loan processing
  • Make recommendations to management to support process improvement.
  • Ensure the delivery of results with timeliness and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Elementary level knowledge of the loan lifecycle, post-closure servicing events, and broader lending operations processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing operational support functions or similar agile teams.
  • Basic awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation.
  • Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
  • Awareness of risk types, policies, and control measures and processes.
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to Policies.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
