Job Overview

Job Purpose:

The intern is an entry level position at Citi where the student will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Interns receive real-world work and add value to their teams during their time at Citi. This assignment will focus on attaining core competencies in Wholesale Lending Operations.

Job Background/context:

Wholesale Lending Operations activities include the preparation and review of loan documentation to perform drawdown, funding, and loan servicing activities. Data review, reconciliation, and reporting are also incorporated into its responsibilities.

The intern will primarily assist in the review and enhancement of performance metrics, reports, and dashboards for Wholesale Lending Operations located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review key performance metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities for improved effectiveness, standardization, and preparation efficiency for those reviewed.
• Monitor progress towards achieving assigned deliverables; measure and report delivery against agreed SLAs; escalate issues when identified.
• Perform other review exercises within Wholesale Lending Operations.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Banking Operations familiarity
• Accounting experience

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Office – Excel
• Microsoft Office – PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of AI tools (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in College/University
