We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as VP, Product Mgmt Lead Analyst (Internal Job Title: Product Mgmt Lead Analyst - C13) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:
The Product Management Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.
Responsibilities:
Network relationships, the role involves managing Mastercard and Visa in Hong Kong. These relationships continue to evolve, with new rules and requirements introduced continually that must be implemented to meet network standards; some initiatives are customer-facing and require multiple layers of internal approvals before implementation. Role involves working in partnership with Networks to drive various high impact strategic initiatives for CUL business. The individual in this role needs to be able to ensure the right level of support from the networks for ongoing projects and effectively direct short-term consultants from network partners who are brought in for specific initiatives.
Optimizing card portfolio health with customer retention and network relationships as the primary focus. For retention, this includes strategies under the EOP stabilization workstream, covering both strategic and operational processes designed to keep customers—particularly high-value segments—engaged and on the books. The role also encompasses execution of the Annual Fee strategy. Across both areas, the expectation is that programs are delivered accurately and explained clearly to senior management.
Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
8-10 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of network management, marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated analytical skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred
