The ISG, Information Services Group, Data Solutions organization aims to support Citi on its journey to adopt a data driven culture by delivering innovative technology solutions and simplifying access to quality data and business intelligence. The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across Citi business lines deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data. This role is part of Reference Data Management group in ISG Data Solutions.
Team Overview:
This Execution Product Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository. Major Tasks Involve - Processing Vendor Data Feeds & Internal Upstream Client Data, Mapping Data, Analyzing and Researching Data, Working on Swift Messages, User Interface, Data Publishing to downstream client (via Cloud, custom publisher) as XML/ Reports, Rules & governance, Audit, Compliance. Coverage, Accuracy and Timeliness of Information are the key drivers. Client and User Requirements drive the Product Roadmap. Team is spread around globally in multiple locations.
Role:
The Lead Product Manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Good understanding of Data Platforms – Design, Enhancement, Execution – is required. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team and project. Later, may require managing team of Product Managers and Data Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Product Design & Development, along with Data Flow Architecture.
- Develops business and platform requirements for multiple components of a large platform product or a narrow product
- Work with clients and stakeholders to manage Product Enhancements and Book of Work
- Drive Design and Brainstorming Session on the Product, Data Models and Data Flows.
- Have Strong analytical skills and writing skills in writing business, functional and technical specifications
- Define and measures the KPIs for a product
- Prioritize and implement best practices and processes for the product and team.
- SQL Proficiency and Relation Database Knowledge
Required Skills:
- Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis.
- Experience Working with Business & Tech Clients to capture Business and Functional Requirements.
- Data Oriented with proficiency in Relation Database Analytics and SQL.
- Validation and Testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations.
- Understanding of Data Model, Transformation, Mining
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in building products preferably in Financial or Data Domain.
- Thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products / services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
- Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred

$192,000.00 - $288,000.00
