Technology Supply Chain Sourcing Director
The Technology Supply Chain Sourcing Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the sourcing and supplier management strategy for technology infrastructure categories including software, hardware, network, cloud services, and infrastructure professional services. This role partners closely with CIOs, CTOs, and key business stakeholders to optimize cost, manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive innovation across the bank's technology supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing Leadership
- Define and lead the bank's technology sourcing strategy aligned with enterprise foundational services and procurement objectives.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing for major IT categories including cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data center, and enterprise software.
- Vendor Management & Performance
- Lead negotiations with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, IBM, etc.
- Cost Optimization & Value Delivery
- Identify and deliver cost savings and commercial value through sourcing strategies, demand management, and contract optimization.
- Partner with Finance and IT to build multi-year cost reduction roadmaps and technology investment plans.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure third-party technology suppliers meet regulatory, cyber, operational, and data privacy requirements.
- Support audit and risk assessment processes for technology vendors.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and Business Unit Heads on all matters related to technology sourcing and supplier strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Security, Finance, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop high-performing team of sourcing professionals and vendor managers.
- Build capability in IT sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier governance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, with a strong focus on technology categories.
- Banking, financial services, or heavily regulated industry experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of technology procurement trends including SaaS, cloud migration, FinTech partnerships, and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and managing Tier 1 vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and contract management skills.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder influence, and change management abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or JD a plus)

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
