Creative Director: Print and Digital, SVP
Citi’s US in-house creative agency is lookingfor aCreative Director to leadits vision and strategy for lower funnel marketing, overseeing the development of high-volume email, direct mail and other targeted marketing assets.
This position requires a proven record of success in leading copy and design through branding initiatives in an agency environment.
The key characteristics for this position are:
Dedicated leader – Managing Design and Copy Leads to implement a consistent and unified experience acrossmarketing assets
Client advocate – Ensuring all assets produced in-house align with business goals and keep client progress front of mind
Strategic visionary – Identifying and onboarding key talent to further grow the agency’s offerings
Accessibility expert – Advising on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines as they pertain to marketing assets; providing a consistent and successful experience to all customers, regardless of ability
Continuous learner / Influencer – Promoting continued education to the team, introducing fresh ideas and providing mentorship to help retain and grow in-house talent
Collaborative partner – Partnering with stakeholders and execution partners to equip the team with best practices and the latest guidelines for delivering top tier creatives
Brand strategist – Maintaining a keen eye and strategizing the most effective methods of implementing brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel that promotes the client's core principles
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of thein-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamicassets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.
The Creative Director: Visual is specifically responsible for:
Leading a team of Design Leads, Copy Leads, designers and copywriters to ensure consistency through lower funnel marketing channels (email, direct mail, web banners, etc.)
Presenting to senior leadership; clearly explaining strategy and impact of the team’s involvement
Providing innovative, out of the box input when reviewingcomplex creatives
Conducting brainstorming sessions in a team setting to continually improve the user experience and performance results on deliverables
Participating in project kickoff meetings, performing internal reviews and joining client presentation calls to lead the team in delivering high quality assets
Demonstrating Citi’s purpose of making every client’s progress our passion
Qualifications:
8+ years of leadership experience, includingacreative background (copy, design, etc.)
Agency experience (in-house agency experience is a plus)
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud
A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regards to creative application)
Experience with ADA compliance as it pertains to marketing collateral
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects
Successful experience partnering with internal clients and senior leaders
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple key priorities
Ability to adhere to a process calendar
Ability to successfully collaborate with local and remote team members
A BA or higher in marketing or a related field
Mac literacy
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
