Job Summary:

The Senior Corporate Office Design and Construction Project Lead is accountable for management and delivery of successful complex/critical corporate office projects. Leads and directs a team of varied internal and external professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple disciplines within corporate office project delivery, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals, sustainability commitments, and hybrid workforce needs within a real estate portfolio. Experience in project management within the corporate office sector. Accountable for delivery of a full range of office design and fit outs to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation, risk, and planning.

Job Description:

  • Oversee the strategic planning, design, delivery, and ongoing development of the workplace real estate portfolio within the region. Ensure alignment of the company’s business goals, sustainability objectives, and needs of the hybrid workforce.
  • Championing innovative, sustainable, and inclusive design solutions, implementing workplace design standards through office fit-outs and major capital renovations. Drive the successful and timely design of corporate office fit-outs in collaboration with the internal Design group to achieve the business goals and maintain all bank standards.
  • Assist in the development of strategic real estate strategies with asset management groups that complement and support business goals. Translate strategic requirements into practicable tactics and designs.
  • Ability to create reports on program performance to senior management, including highlighting issues, mitigation plans, and progress.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, cost, quality, roles, responsibilities, communication, staffing, risk, and issue management.
  • Acting as a crucial liaison between various internal departments (Real Estate Senior Management, Asset Management, Transaction team, Client Businesses, Business Liaisons, IT, Security) and managing relationships with multiple strategic outsourced service providers, consultants, and vendors. Develop Requests for Proposals for consultants, construction, and various other vendor services. Analyze bids, interview bidders, and evaluate qualifications.
  • Overseeing the implementation of corporate office fit outs, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal business impact. This extends to monitoring actual schedule and costs against estimates, reporting variances, and developing corrective actions. Project payments are reviewed and approved with a focus on compliance.
  • Ensure that permitting, commissioning, punch lists and project closeouts are managed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage relationships with multiple strategic outsourced service providers, including monitoring performance/KPIs and any corrective actions required. Proactively assess workload and market trends.
  • Create and promote a culture of transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement in the project delivery process and continually look for ways to improve organizational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in architecture, interior design, or engineering; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 – 15 years’ experience in corporate office design and fit-outs. Strong project management skills during which s/he applied a structured approach (methodology) to project planning, monitoring, and reporting through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.
  • Direct experience and proven success managing corporate office fit-outs/renovations projects.
  • 5 years’ experience managing project management staff.
  • Demonstrate leadership and adaptability when facing unique challenges encountered on each project.
  • Strong written, spoken and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong influencing, organizational, collaboration, and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • History of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget.
  • Analytical, flexible, collaborative, have good interpersonal and follow up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project as well as industry standard project management tools.
  • Financial Services experience preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
