The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support Pega environments, ensuring alignment with organizational security policies.
Execute installations, upgrades, hotfixes, and patching of Pega platforms and supporting components.
Monitor application and server performance, availability, and capacity against defined SLAs and SLOs.
Perform troubleshooting of environment and platform issues, including logs, agents, listeners, queue processors, and JVM performance.
Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with company standards.
Manage user authentication, roles, access groups, and SSO integrations for security and compliance.
Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations to ensure business continuity.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit readiness.
Support audits, compliance checks, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Strong expertise in Pega product deployments, upgrades, and environment maintenance across all stages (DEV, TEST, STAGE, PROD).
Proficiency in Pega Designer Studio and performance monitoring, including analysis of various Pega components.
Experience with automation using Jenkins for CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as AppD and Splunk.
Strong background in Unix/Linux administration and Oracle SQL.
Experience with IBM WebSphere & Apache Tomcat for enterprise-scale Pega hosting.
Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Proficiency with Bitbucket, JIRA, and ServiceNow for project and service management.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
Preferred Certifications:
Pega CSA/CSSA (Certified System Architect / Certified Senior System Architect)
CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) - Desirable
