The Mortgage Product Technology Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists. This role ensures the exchange of information is concise, logical, and understandable in coordination with the broader technology teams. This position leverages mortgage experience to develop strategic plans, drive the execution and manage technology budget planning.  The overall objective of this role is to continuously analyze and evaluate the use of technology by the business to gain insights and drive improvement of technology roadmaps.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple teams of business analysts supporting multiple systems or over a business analysis functional area (depending on size of business) with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the efficient design, development and implementation and to ensure essential procedures are followed
  • Develop strategy and guidelines for appropriate staffing requirements, exercising control over resources, budget management and planning and contributing to defining standards
  • Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of business analysis concepts and procedures and basic knowledge of other areas
  • Work as a team to achieve objectives and influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, communicating with external parties as needed
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations, drawing on diverse range of internal and external sources
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Technology Experience and experience in mortgage technology and/or financial services.  Understanding the mortgage industry, processes, and products is also beneficial.
  • Proven leadership managing technology teams, driving strategic initiatives, and leading complex projects to successful completion.
  • Clear and Concise Communication
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to partner and influence across organizational lines, fostering collaboration and aligning technology solutions with business goals.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities Mortgage Technology Experience: Knowledge of mortgage technology systems and the business and technology processes that influence them.
  • Budget Planning and Management
  • Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers, evaluating, and selecting third-party solutions that align with business needs.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
