Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model Analysis Validation Officer for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Perform and oversee validations of predictive models including models for binary outcome, decision trees, linear regression, and machine learning models using SAS, R, and python statistical software within agreed schedule and ensure execution follows global methodology and is compliant with policy and guidelines. Perform critical review of model development process and obtain results. Apply statistical methods to organize, analyze, and interpret data to perform model validation. Conduct ongoing model performance assessments to ensure existing models are working as intended and meet criteria and make model improvement recommendations. Prepare model validation reports in a detailed, structured, and clear manner highlighting risks and limitations of the model. Use visualization techniques to display data and results of analysis in clear straightforward presentations that can be understood by non-technical readers. Guide junior validators, share knowledge, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to respective policy and guidelines. Distribute validation reports and consult with model and business owners and other stakeholders on model validation results. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, Technical Science, Economics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the Financial Services industry. Three (3) years of experience must include: Working with predictive modeling techniques including models for binary outcome, decision trees, linear regression, or machine learning; Utilizing data mining methods and applying their application in business, model development, or validation; Applying statistical methods including hypothesis testing, checks for data stability, completeness, and data accuracy to analyze and interpret data; Working with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Data Marts/Data Warehouses; Extracting data from different sources using SQL and organizing data in appropriate form for analysis; Utilizing programming skills in SAS 4GL, Python or R to perform statistical and data analysis; and Designing technical solutions supporting complex data reporting and analytical tasks as well as generating complex graphic data reports including data crosstabs, descriptive statistics, and charts. 40 hrs./wk.
